Food is at the heart of what we do, and our hog roasts are all about slow cooking and proper flavour. The meat is roasted gently until it’s tender and full of taste, then served with a selection of fresh salads and sides made using ingredients from local suppliers we trust.

After a busy event in Escrick Park we chose to go into York and tick off some of ‘York’s Must See’ attractions. Heading into the dungeons was not for the feint hearted, but it was fun all the same. The Black Bull in Escrick is a friendly pub with good food, and The Fat Abbot at the Parsonage Hotel are local recommendations.
